HORIZON
Drawn to the exteriors of walls throughout the Americas from 2004 to 2006, I was captivated by what seemed solid from a distance, giving way to many forms and expressions as I got closer. I realized that I could compare this discovery of the great unknown to my own life as it moves and changes over time.
Sometimes what I see but can’t decipher is similar to observing a horizon. The moments spent in not seeing something clearly, in taking in the bigger picture and allowing it to ruminate within and inspire, is what brings meaning to me. I call the series Horizon.
